Hey there, I'm Steph. I decided to name my blog after a grateful dead song that I was listening to when thinking of a name. It turned out to be catchy so I like it. I also decided to name this title after a beatles song because my friend was actually helping me out with this. To say the least, I love music...I can't live without it. I feel that music helps me out with a lot of things and gets me through the day. I will literally travel the world for music that I love. Here is a music video by The Beatles.
Here's a picture of one of the festivals I went to this summer, Rothbury. It was such a great experience, words cannot even describe. I drove about 16 hours from NY to Michigan. Long trip, but definitely worth it.
Here's a link to Rothbury Music Festival 2009. Look at the pictures, they are very convincing. http://www.rothburyfestival.com/
Hey there, I'm Steph. I was born in Coral Springs, Fla but now I currently live on the good old Long Island, NY.
During my holiday, my sister, my friend and I decided to set out on the road and drive to Florida. We weren't just going for the vaction..we were going to see Phish. We wound up going to three of the four nights, including New Year's Eve which turned out to be phenomenal. This trip was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.
One thing I like about our media culture today is that it always keeps me updated. Thank goodness for the televison commercials, magazines and the newspapers because they keep me informed, or else I would not have an idea what is taking place in the world.
One thing I don't like about it is that it is at times, very distracting. I feel that certain things like new t.v. shows and whatnot stops us from thinking and keeps us from using our brains.
As of right now, my major is communications. I don't really know what I want to do with that but I have always pictured myself in the music industry. I trully have a strong love for music which makes me happy.
